We understand that life happens, and sometimes you have to reschedule an appointment. We ask that you give us at least 72 hours’ notice so we have an opportunity to offer your time slot to another patient.

If you miss your appointment or cancel with less than 72 hours’ notice, you may be charged a missed appointment fee.

Our dentists need good quality dental x-rays both to establish a baseline from which we can track changes over time, as well as evaluate the health of your tooth roots, bone, and periodontal tissues – things that can’t be seen with the naked eye in a visual exam alone. So at your first appointment, we will take one 3D cone beam image (CBCT) and four bitewing x-rays.

To keep your radiation exposure to a minimum, we use 100% digital imaging, which requires just a fraction of the radiation that traditional dental imaging does. We can also provide you with a homeopathic remedy to help your body clear the small amount of radiation it’s exposed to.

If you have a CBCT and/or bitewings that are of good quality and less than 12 months old, we may be able to use them instead of taking a new set. Ask us about this when you contact us to schedule your first appointment.
