Biocompatibility is a priority. We stress prevention and, when dental work needs to be done, we favor the least invasive options for meeting our patients’ needs effectively.

Safe Mercury Removal & More
When a patient chooses to have their “silver” mercury amalgam fillings replaced with nontoxic, biocompatible restorations, we follow the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology’s strict safety protocols to protect the health of you and our other patients, ourselves, and our planet.
We incorporate advanced procedures – such as the use of ozone and platelet rich fibrin – in oral surgeries to promote rapid natural healing and prevent the formation of cavitations (jawbone osteonecrosis). Where cavitations have formed from earlier surgeries, infected root canal teeth, or other issues, we can remove the dead, infected tissue and provide therapies to spur better healing.
Because conditions such as these can have such a big impact on overall health, we are both familiar and comfortable working with naturopathic and integrative physicians, taking a team approach so you can heal fully, mouth and body alike. For instance,
- Our CMA Ecocycle mercury filter stops 99.5% of all mercury amalgam from entering our public waterways.
- We have advanced air filtration throughout our office, which cleans particulates as small as 0.003 microns, including all mercury vapor and other dental fumes.
- All of the images we take, including x-rays, are digital, and x-rays are taken only as needed and with extra precautions to keep your radiation exposure to an absolute minimum.
- We provide our clients with the healthiest water available: spring water from Cobb Mountain and alkalized water from AlkaViva (formerly IonWays).
